Doyle Brunson’s super system and life of the poker legend told

Poker Legends: Doyle Brunson.

Doyle Brunson - legend of poker USA.  Born August, 10 1933 in Longworth, Texas.
He is twice world champion. He stood at the origins of poker and even now at 70 years he still continues to successfully compete at tournaments and at cash games. We can enumerate a long time all his tournament winnings. But his greatest achievements are two victories at main tournaments of World Series in 1976 and in 1977. Only Stu Ungar and Johnny Chan could repeat his achievement.
Doyle Brunson has 10 bracelets WSOP (the second result in the poker history) – he won almost at each third tournament. The total Brunson’s winnings are over 5 million dollars.  But, of course, at cash game he won at least twenty times more…
Doyle Brunson was born in Longworth, little town in Texas. He was showing promise as a basketball player and was invited to the club NBA, but an injury received while unloading a truck put the end of sports career. Lameness remains for life.  During the period of recovery after an injury Doyle Brunson learned to play poker, and put all his energy to become the best in this kind of gambling.
His hard way to success, fame and money, he described in detail in the autobiographical parts of his books “Doyle Brunson Super System” and “Doyle Brunson Super System 2″. We have nothing but envy optimism and strength of will of this man, who survived several falls, a hard form of cancer and became in fact the live god of poker. His Super System Doyle Brunson writes with help of such famous gamblers as Bobby Baldwin, David Reese, Joey Hawthorne, David Sklansky, Mike Caro.  Each of them has written about one of the kind of poker game:
•    ”Draw Poker”  was written by Mike Caro.
•    “7-card Stud Poker” is a David Reese’s work.
•    Authors of “Lowball” are Joey Hawthorne and Doyle Brunson.
•    “7-card Stud high-low Split” is written by David Sklansky.
•    “Limit Texas Holdem” is written by Bobby Baldwin.
•    ”Unlimit Texas holdem” was written by Doyle Brunson.
Doyle Brunson s Super System must be read by everyone who wants to be a great gambler.  Besides Brunson’s advice there are also statistics and chances by Mike Caro.
Both main WSOP tournaments of 1976 and 1977 he won with the same combination “10-2″. After these winnings the combination “10-2″ is simply called “Brunson”.
Now Doyle Brunson lives in Las Vegas and regularly takes part in poker shows and biggest tournaments.   In 2004 he won WPT Legends of Poker, having received over one million dollars, and in 2005 he won his 10th WSOP bracelet at $5,000 tournament.
