Oasis Poker is a variation of a Jackpot-featured Caribbean Poker. The rules of Oasis Poker are pretty much the same, except the player is allowed to exchange cards before a raise or fold decision.
Objective
The objective of Oasis Poker is to beat the dealer’s hand by getting a higher five-card poker hand.
Cards
Oasis Poker is played with a standard 52-card deck. Cards are shuffled after each round.
The individual cards are ranked in the following descending order: Ace (high or low), King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. The Ace can be the highest-value card in a straight of A, K, Q, J, 10, or the lowest-value card in a straight of 5, 4, 3, 2, A.

Betting Limits

Play
Play begins by placing an Ante bet. You can also make a Jackpot bet to participate in a progressive Jackpot game and get some bonus payouts.
Then click DEAL. You are dealt 5 cards face up while the dealer is dealt 4 cards face down and 1 card face up. You need to evaluate your hand and decide on one of the following options:
- Fold – by clicking FOLD you lose all bets placed (both the Ante and the Jackpot bet). The game is over.
- Raise – by clicking RAISE you continue playing and place an additional bet that equals twice your Ante bet. The dealer’s cards are revealed. Both hands are evaluated.
- Change cards – You can select from 1 to 5 cards in your hand that you want to switch and then click the CHANGE button. The fee for switching each card equals one Ante bet, thus, switching 5 cards will cost 5 Ante bets. Once you click the CHANGE button, the chosen cards are removed from the table and new cards will be dealt.
Game Outcomes
The dealer’s hand must contain at least an Ace or a King to qualify.
If the dealer’s hand does not qualify, the Ante bet is paid 1:1, while the Raise bet is returned to you.
If the dealer qualifies the dealer’s and the player’s hands are compared:
- If your hand is lower than the dealer’s, you lose both the Ante and the Raise bets.
- If the dealer’s hand ties with your hand, both the Ante and the Raise bets are returned.
- If your hand beats the Dealer’s, then the Ante bet is paid 1:1 and the Raise bet is paid according to the paytable listed below.

Hand Ranking
- If you and the dealer have hands of the same type, the hand that includes the card of higher value wins (e.g. 3 Kings beats 3 Queens; a flush of A, 6, 5, 4, 3 beats a flush of K, J, 10, 8, 7).
If the hands are of the same type and value, the next highest card that is not part of the paying hand, known as the kicker, determines the winner.
