Play

The game is played in rounds. Each round consists of two phases: "come-out" and "point". To start a round one or more "come-out" rolls are made.A come-out roll of 2, 3 or 12 is called "craps". Pass Line bets lose in this situation. A come-out roll of 7 or 11 (called "natural") results in a win for Pass Line bets. All other possible numbers – 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 are called "point numbers". If some of these numbers is rolled, this establishes the "point". The dealer moves an ON market to the point number, signifying the second phase of the round. If the shooter rolls a seven before repeating the point number (a "seven-out"), the Pass Line bets lose and the round ends. The next roll of dice is considered the first come-out roll in a new round.

Bet Types

Pass Line

The bet is placed on the PASS LINE field. If the come-out roll is 7 or 11, you win and the round ends. If the come-out roll is 2, 3, or 12, you lose and the round is done.

Any other number rolled - 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 - becomes the point. If the point comes out again before a 7 you win. If a 7 is rolled before the point you lose the Pass Line bet. The winning Pass Line bet is paid 1:1. Once the point has been established, unresolved Pass Line bets cannot be removed or reduced.

Don’t Pass

The bet is placed on the DON’T PASS BAR field. If the come-out roll is 2 or 3, you win. If the come-out roll is 7 or 11, you lose. If the come-out roll is 12, your bet pushes. Any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) rolled becomes the point. If the point comes out again before a 7 you lose. If a 7 is rolled before the point, you win. The winning Don’t Pass Bar bet is paid 1:1. Once the point has been established, unresolved Don’t Pass Bar can be removed or reduced.
